Ok,

obviously by the aforementioned tag this is obviously going to be a rant.  I am all for holiday cheer, despite those who think otherwise, but I think outfitting your entire house, yard, and everything else within reach with lights, then feeling the need to keep them lit for an entire month and a half is just plain wasteful.  We as humans need to be more aware of energy conservation.

So wow, it’s been a while since I have posted anything here, work has been hectic, we lost one of our most valuable peoples, and the work load isn’t getting any lighter. I am also working on a couple of other sites for the fun of it, http://codetwit.com for tips and tricks associated with the sysadmin / network / storage admin profession as well as general geekery. I am also working on http://sixbelmont.com which is still a work in progress (so you’ll likely see it change from it’s current incarnation). On another note I got my bday gift which is the awesome (thanks baby)! I got an Acer Aspire One netbook in sapphire blue. This thing is the awesome, and hopefully will help me to blog more efficiently and more frequently. I’ll post again in a couple of days.
