Monday, June 30th, 2008So I may be a day late and a dollar short on this one, but I have been resisting this one for the longest time. I just assumed that it was going to be the same *trash* all over again, though to be honest First Blood is one of my all time favorite movies, the 2nd and 3rd installment were just trash. Ok, so on to the new one, this movie blew me a way, I was expecting a piece of garbage dressed up like a 2 bit whore, but I was absolutely floored. Stallone actually did a good job of acting in the movie (yes real acting people get over it) and the action was intense. I had to watch the first gunfight with the pirates (see the movie and you’ll understand) a few times cause it was just amazing. This movie is not for the faint of heart as there is more blood shed and gore than in most horror movies (and I mean realistic gore, what would actually happened if a .50 cal bullet hit someone at point blank range (too much ogrish when it was still around :-))). I would highly recommend this movie!
