So I may be a day late and a dollar short on this one, but I have been resisting this one for the longest time. I just assumed that it was going to be the same *trash* all over again, though to be honest First Blood is one of my all time favorite movies, the 2nd and 3rd installment were just trash. Ok, so on to the new one, this movie blew me a way, I was expecting a piece of garbage dressed up like a 2 bit whore, but I was absolutely floored. Stallone actually did a good job of acting in the movie (yes real acting people get over it) and the action was intense. I had to watch the first gunfight with the pirates (see the movie and you’ll understand) a few times cause it was just amazing. This movie is not for the faint of heart as there is more blood shed and gore than in most horror movies (and I mean realistic gore, what would actually happened if a .50 cal bullet hit someone at point blank range (too much ogrish when it was still around :-))). I would highly recommend this movie!

So tonight I went with my wife to a dinner party (at a restaurant) with a bunch of her high school friends that she recently connected with, mainly through facebook. It was an awesome experience as these are people, even though they are different and have different lives and different stories, that seem to get each other, and it was a blast watching them reminisce about old times, sing together, make fun of each other and generally just have fun. I must admit that I don’t have those kinds of connections with people from high school, but am glad that I got to go experience that with my wife. It was great fun, and hope to get together with them again, as I can relate to them and had a blast myself. To my wife, I love you, and you’re the greatest.

I know there are a lot of opinions about password management, and because I am a systems administrator I have to be diligent about my passwords, they have to meet certain standards, etc. I have tried a couple of other password management programs, but the one that I found that I am happy with feature wise and price wise is Keepass. It’s free, OSI certified and has tons of features. Highly recommended. Oh and yes there is a Windows/Linux/OSX/Palm/BBerry, etc version (pretty much most devices).

I dropped the n off of the moron cause I did figure out what it was that was b0rked with the installation of the bbPress, though if I had RTFM’d in the first freakin place it wouldn’t have been an issue.

So I have added a couple of new things to the blog, I have added Forums and a one of my google calendars (so I can keep track of upcoming events). So far the integration between the forums and wordpress is impressive, though I haven’t really given it a run for it’s money, but am happy cause if you have a login to the blog, it will cross-login to the forums (and I think vice versa). So wh00t for me.
